Description Reconstruction of a school for 500 children to about 20km north of Malindi, on the Kenya coast. The school is owned by the government, which like many of them is completely run down due to lack of funding. They provide provides teachers and one meal a day for free.
The reconstruction process, tailored to their needs, will be implemented over 18 months in three phases:
  1. Completion of Block 1: 4 classrooms
  2. Rehabilitation Block 2: 3 classrooms and 1 office / warehouse.
  3. Rehabilitation of block 3 (2 classrooms) and construction of 20 latrines.
KST has experience in the rehabilitation of 13 schools with over 9,500 children.
